It is 6:48am on a Sunday and I have been awake since 430am. Yey, right? But that’s okay. I can catch up on stealing The Gal’s ideas blogging, read all the latest info on Cookie’s visit to Manila (with Archie) and listen to the rain on the roof in the sunroom.

1. Who do you think is sexy?
If you don’t know the answer to this by now, you are so not paying attention. Which begs the further question: why aren’t you? Good lord. I’m not blogging for my health, ya know. In addition to sekrit boyfriend Cookie, I’ll add Gal’s favorite because Jon Hamm IS Don Draper. Like there can be no one ever to inhabit the shoes of Tony Soprano other than James Gandolfini, no one should ever consider this role. It was made for Jon Hamm. Hands down. (Once again bows to Gal for getting me hooked.)
2. When does it become love?
When even the goofiest things they do make you smile.
3. Are you a good dancer?
I used to be. Haven’t danced in a while and I miss it. When I was in my 20’s, I sublimated all my sadness and stuff through dancing. In fact, I’ve done that a good deal of my early life. When did I stop? And why? Good journal questions.
4. What magazines do you read?
I used to read so many but realized it’s all the same crap just rehashed over and over. The only subscription I have now is Body & Soul mag and will probably not renew when it’s up. Since I do so much reading on those kinds of topics, I rarely find anything new or interesting in magazines.
5. If you could have any name, what would you call yourself?
I was a big fan of the show “Moonlighting” and adopted the name “Maddie Hayes” as my alter ego. If I had a girl baby, I would have named her Madelyn, in fact. (Or Sophia. Love that name!) So, I’m gonna go with Maddie as my choice for myself as it’s the name that fits most comfortably. (My good friend Charlie was “Addison” and he still signs his emails that way. heh)
6. Have you ever ridden in a limo? If yes, when?
Yes, when I was a bridesmaid in a couple weddings. Also, when my dad died but I don’t really remember much of that.
7. What is something you really like to do?
That I can share with the world at large? (heh) I love feeding the birds and squirrels in the backyard and hearing them chirp the news to their other birdie friends that food is available. Then I go to an undisclosed location (a few feet away) and watch them land on the bench and enjoy their meal. That fills my heart up.
8. Last chance: Who wins Idol, Kris Allen or Adam Lambert?
I think Adam will win (despite Gal thinking that America isn’t ready to handle a semi-out gay idol) but this year has been (IMO, of course) less than stellar. (And I haven’t even watched it! heh Except for last year, I have never been into Idol beyond what you can’t avoid in the media. I am pretty sure I won’t be into it again the way I was last year because it wasn’t the show, it was Dave that motivated me.)
9. If you had to, what animal would you choose to be?
I resonate so strongly with cats, it’s not funny. I could be no other animal BUT a cat.
