Sunday Stealing: The Tell Me About Yourself Meme – like you don’t know eleventy hundred things about me, right? And like you care, moreover. Still, you’re the one reading so I may as well blog on, baybee.
1. When is your birthday?
October 22 – and speaking numerologically, here’s what they say about yours truly:
You possess a great talent for creativity and self expression. Many writers, poets, actors and musicians are born under the 3 Life Path. Lisa, you are witty, possess a gift for gab, and savor the limelight. This is so true, innit? Yeah. I know.
2. Where were you born?
Baltimore MD – I have only ever lived in two states: MD and VA – I get around.
3. Where do you live now?
On the MD Eastern Shore – it’s a tiny little town right on the Chesapeake Bay. It’s nice to be able to see water any time I want.
4. What is your heritage?
My mom is 100% Italian, my dad 100% Irish so I’m 50/50 but the only part of my Irish heritage that shows is my undying love for potatoes. The rest? All Italian – passionate, animated, warm and emotional.
5. Tell us about a weakness.
More accuracy from my numerology report: You are emotional and vulnerable. When hurt, you withdraw into a cloud of silence, eventually emerging from your reticence with jokes and laughter that cover up your true feelings. You can become moody and cynical when depressed
6. What’s a goal that you’d like to achieve?
I have several but if I had to pick one I’d like to achieve in 2010, I’d love to have actual paying clients for my woo-woo practice – be it readings or coaching, it matters not.
7. What is the most overused internet phrase?
I just read some post today that “Whatever” remains the most annoying phrase – don’t know about an internet one, specifically. However, I do like that sometimes it’s almost as if everyone is in on the same joke across the internet.
8. What was your first thought this morning?
“Oh geez! What time is it??”(How’s that for early morning mental gymnastics?)
9. When do you usually go to bed?
Depends but usually somewhere between 11pm and 11:30pm, most days.
10. Do you smoke? If not, did you ever?
I have not ever smoked ANYthing – no cigarettes, no pot – nothing. Both parents smoked and it just seemed like a really icky habit.
11. Do you (or did you) get along with your parents?
I got along famously with my dad (he died when I was 15) – he just “got” me in a way no one else seemed to. As a child I was close to my mom but then, as I got older, we really struggled with things for a long time – mostly I was trying to be my own person rather than an extension of her. It took me moving almost 3 hours away to be able to start doing that. In the last years of her life, we made peace with each other. There is no question that she loved me with all her heart and soul. I felt that always (and still do).
12. How often do you drink alcohol?
Not very often but I sure do like doing it. I’m a very cheap date so give me a glass and a half of wine or one cosmo and I’m having the best time evah!
13. Have you ever tried drugs (that weren’t prescribed)?
Hi, my name is Lisa and I’ve never ever done any illegal drugs. I am really, really boring like that. But oh, I’d love to try Ecstasy! Man, I’d be happy and rubbing on people and whatnot. Or maybe speed because I’d be thin AND have a clean house.
14. Have you ever gone skinny dipping? If yes, do tell.
Hi, my name is Lisa and I am probably the most boring person in the world – what’s that Adam Ant song? “You don’t drink, you don’t smoke, what do ya do?” LOL Short answer: no
15. If given the choice, how would you like to die?
At 84, asleep after I’ve said all my goodbyes. How peaceful is that?
16. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A lawyer or a journalist. Yeah, angel communicator wasn’t high on the list at that early age.
17. Have you ever been dumped?
Who hasn’t? My first boyfriend broke up with me when I had laryngitis. Nice, hey? I cried, threw the phone against the wall, and stayed in my dark bedroom for two days. Dramatic? Me? Nah!
18. What’s on your pizza?
Pepperoni and mushroom is good but I am also fine with a plain cheese pizza.
19. Have you ever shoplifted?
I plead the fifth on this one. If I did it (/OJ Simpson), I was very young and a moron.
I live in MD too, but I live in Western Maryland. Not much cool scenery here. :( You’re lucky you get to live near water. I love looking at bodies of water. It’s so nice looking.
I’m proud of you for not smoking. It is definitely an icky habit indeed. I’ve smoked, but I quit. I realize how bad it is.
Not smoking is a great thing! They are SO hard to give up…
I loved your answers =)
Italian and Irish is a good mix :)
Have a great Sunday!

Monday Mayhem
Oh I like your answer to your ‘heritage’—-that’s cool. But I’m not Italian, but love my Irish potatoes too. Wish I were passionate. LOL
My Sunday Stealing is posted, I do hope you can stop by —HERE
Do you burn easily? That could be a gift from your Irish ancestors.
So I have never smoked, never skinny dipped and never shoplifted. Does that make me geekier or as geeky as you, who never smoked, never tried drugs, and never skinny dipped? And who rules on such things?
