What a day I’ve had, kids! It helps to get focused early in the morning because I whipped through three readings I had on my To-Do list and did a whole bunch of woo-woo business related stuff. Five hours – just like that. It was great, though. And I got *the most lovely* compliment on a reading I did for someone. It was so touching that it made me cry (but in a good way). I’m going to print it out and put it in my journal for keeps.
Also, new post over on Practically Intuitive about how even intuitives need guidance once in a while.
So, yeah. I promised Gal I’d write a post about the Money Manifesting program I have been doing for the past two months. It was created by Andrea Hess at Empowered Soul. Andrea also created and facilitated the Soul Realignment work that I’ve studied in the past. She’s a dynamo – full of ideas and processes. I’m amazed at all she’s done in a short period of time to bring big concepts down so they are easier to understand. Big work!
I will explain the concept in a nutshell (because, truly, there is much more to it) and share with you what I’ve done with it.
Basically, it’s this: In order to manifest money (which is really just energy), you have to assign it an energetic address. For example, let’s say that you want to manifest $1000 and have said that this amount of money in your bank account would make you feel relieved, or joyful or whatever emotion you choose. Once you’ve figured that part out, then you have to do some real down-to-earth things to bring that energy into your life more.
So, if you’ve chosen joy as your energetic address, you start to think of things that make you feel joyful – that bring more joy into your life. And you do as many of those things as you can. That lifts you automatically into that energy. And since you’ve said $1000 = joy, then those dollars will come through. The hitch is – you have to do the real life actions to create that energetic state for yourself to attract the money.
(Mind you, I am taking 100 pages of her work and sifting it down to one paragraph so bear with me if it’s not too clear yet.)
My experience
In December, I decided I would manifest $4000 (yes, I was aiming high, wasn’t I?) and that $4000 would equal joy. My work was to bring more joy into my life. Easy, yes? And I had to choose things to do that were sort of out of my comfort zone but that brought me joy. I listed a bunch (like thinking of the word JOY when I answered the phone at work, or greeting people on the street each morning … easy stuff like that) and trusted that I would bring that money in. I sort of lost my zest for it around the hectic holidays but kept on bringing the joy as best I could. January 1 rolled around and I had manifested about half of the $4000. Which wasn’t bad because I really felt like I half assed it. So, half ass dollar amount came through. (Still, $2000 I didn’t expect wasn’t bad, eh?)
I admit that I was disheartened when it all didn’t come through in December and really had to look at what I did (or in this case, didn’t do) to cause that to happen. In January, I re-did the entire program, choosing a different word and a different dollar amount.
Here’s what I chose: Empowerment = $1500. My 3d actions included going to the gym (which is pretty far out of my comfort zone), speaking up when I might not otherwise, taking some risks in opening myself up … essentially, without going into too many specifics, things like that.
On the first day of my word, I opened the sliding glass window to my area and it shattered into a million tiny pieces. Interesting. I kept getting that word (empowerment) on my daily affirmation cards and I even found articles drop into my lap about empowerment. It was pretty cool. The trick is not to assume it’s all coincidence. Because it’s not.
This is getting long so I’ll cut to the chase: at the end of the month, I had $2600 in my bank account that just showed up. Part of it was my finding out that pay for certain holidays from last year were not included in my paychecks due to some clerical error. That was $800 right there. Then, when I switched back to full time, I got paid in arrears for time that was lagging on a part time schedule. (Don’t ask. It’s complicated.) That was one whole paycheck right there that I wasn’t planning on getting. And that brought me to $2600.
One of the most important parts of this is to do the preliminary work (energetic address and then the 3d actions to bring that state to you) and then detach from thinking about how it will show up. Andrea suggests you engage your mind in a fun game – like wondering in what form it will show up. But show up it will, IF you do that prelim work. Otherwise, if you half-ass it (like I did), you’ll get half-assed results.
Well, this sure turned out to be a VERY LONG and involved post. I think I will write more about it again this week because it’s a great concept. I would encourage you to check out the teleclass that Andrea did on this (It’s free to listen to and it’s about an hour long.) and if you feel so guided, look into the course. It is not inexpensive, I’ll say that. But if you consider it an investment, as I did, it will be well worth it.
I’ll leave you with this bit from Andrea’s site. It explains what is required from you to fully manifest this money into your own life.
1. Ownership of all that you’ve created so far. Yes, all of it. It’s pretty tough to create a new experience if you think that you didn’t actually create the old one. Taking ownership might initially be a bit uncomfortable. Most of us have situations in our lives that make us shake our heads and wonder why we would ever create THAT. Nevertheless … ownership comes before change.
2. Consciousness. No, you don’t need to be a fully enlightened Being or sit in meditation for hours. But to manifest money, we must create a new energetic state of Being. And creating a new energetic state (which is SO much more than choosing a happy thought!) requires that we bring a high level of consciousness and awareness to what we are doing and Being.
3. The willingness to do something different. We all know that it’s insanity to do the same things over and over again and expect different results. To manifest money, new action is required. But stepping outside of our comfort zone and doing something different to manifest money can get tricky. No worries, there are ways to overcome resistance and know without a shadow of a doubt that our actions are going to manifest the money we want. If you constantly get stuck on taking action on your path to manifest money, you might want to download this teleclass.
