On days where the news really gets me down and everyone on all my forums (political or otherwise) are gripey, sad and mean, it helps me to remember all the the things that bring me joy in my life. This isn’t a complete list by any means but just a little sampling to put out for all the world (and my three readers) to see.

Joy is:
+ watching television with LucieCat curled up next to me on the couch, purring her head off
+ seeing my new tomato plants thrive and grow. I talk to them every day when I water them and tell them how pretty they are
+ meeting a new friend who totally vibes on the same wavelength as I do – could have talked with her for hours and hours
+ having lots of eps of “True Blood” on demand, just waiting for me – now if only I can pry Duty away from the big screen tv so I can watch them!
+ visiting all my friends online and reading their blogs (waves to Gal, Sarah and Jenn) – I love seeing how people present themselves in writing
+ listening to the rain
+ chatting with the Guides and Teachers while doing readings for people
+ touching stuff in stores
+ holding my Godson of Love (on tap for today, thankyouverymuch) and just looking at him – what marvelous creatures babies are!
+ getting email from my own Godmommy of Love who loves and hates me at the same time for getting her hooked on Hope’s Cookies (heheh)
So, yeah.
*hugs* Beautiful post! :)
(Blush) Really? Well, thank you so so so much, Kara. That made my bitty heart happy to hear. I hope we can get to know each other better in the days/weeks/months ahead!
Just so you know….you were something I was giving thanks for while I was driving to work this morning. I think you are amazing, and I am honored to know you and awed by your connection to Source.

Everything is feeling very IN BALANCE for me. So that's my joy. That, and an ever closer relationship with the multitudes of me, my Higher Self. Lisa, it's been amazing…
I'm very happy to hear you are feeling in balance! We don't often get those moments, do we? :)
LOL I'm sure Kipling won't mind at all! Babyholding was awesome! Got some good pics too. He'll be two months old this week and is a babydoll. :)
(Waving back) Great post! It's always good to recall what we makes us happy, and it's important that your list includes so many things that are private and yours alone. Do you think Kipling would mind if we rework his words to read, "If you can find moments of joy when all about you are grumpy …"?
