Oh, hello kids! I think I’ve been a neglectful blogger of late and so we must remedy that posthaste! I know you’re waiting on a list of just what’s been the haps around here and I shan’t let you down.
Here we go:
1. Today, after getting my bi-weekly manicure, I will be heading to the world of the “boz-man” aka Peterbella to play and hold and do all manner of fun stuff with Cousin O’gives me babies I can adore. hehe
2. Well pump is fixed and only (!) cost $700 instead of the $5000 we thought we’d have to shell out for a new well pump. That’s a big ass win in my books. Plus, water! We haz it.
3. Dude who’s been ignoring me at work? Still at it. However, *I* have completely stepped into my power and it no longer bothers me. I do wonder what’s up but since I’ve yet to find out, clearly it’s not mine to know. So, I released it.
4, Practically Intuitive is taking off splendidly and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve spent my days at work surfing sites and leaving comments on like-minded blogs and that’s been a wonderful way to meet new people. I spend the other part of the day learning all about “Search Engine Optimization” and how to get your blog out and noticed. There’s a wealth of information on that and lots of people to help so I’m taking what’s there and running with it. Kelly Diels and her partner have a cool service where they review your blog and give you tons and tons of ways to make it better, get it out there, etc. (Called League of Extraordinary Bloggers) They are raising their rates but I got in there under the wire for the old fee which was half of what their new fee is now. I’m excited to learn and grow and get better with this project. (Latest entry: Adventures of an Intuitive)
5. I added E-coaching as a service and already have one sign-up for it and one more who wants to think of what she will focus on and then commit. Wheee! I’m excited by that and the idea came after sifting through blogs and looking at what others are offering. It was a Mommy-blog that had the E-Coaching and I took that and came up with a version for my site. We’ll see how it plays out. I need to sit with my Guides and plot out a process as a basic structure. It just feels like this whole thing burst wide open and that tickles me. Also, I’m learning how to write in a less stream-of-consciousness way than I do here because, you know, people visit the site to learn something and I doubt they’ll care about my sekrit boyfriends or why my cousin hates me. heheh But that’s great because it stretches me as a writer. And you know me: all about the learning and growing.
So, PI has been the big focus this week. It’s been a productive one, that’s for sure. YEY me!
You have CLEARLY, CLEARLY, CLEARLY taken a leap. I am impressed and personally inspired as well. Perhaps, indeed, I made that comment to YOU, but it was also meant for ME? Love the Practically Intuitive Site….love, love, love it.
Oh Gal, thank you so much for the feedback. It's hard to do something like that while being immersed in it because I worry I'll be talking over people's head. It's all coming together so organically and I'm so excited. I think I really took Jody's comments to heart about doing it "for me" and that's shifted me to a whole new place.
Thank you so much for your loving and wonderful support. It means a lot to me. Truly.
A $700 bill is MUCH better to receive than a $5000 one! You must be so relieved.
I took a spin around Practically Intuitive and am very impressed by the professional, non-Snarky Snarkela. I especially liked your FAQ, very user-friendly and most likely puts your readers at ease. Great pic of you with PeterBella, too.
