Home again Home again Jiggity Jig
Well, Duty made it back from South Korea in one piece, surprising me at the front door with roses for Mother’s Day. Now he can attend to all the “Honey-do’s” that have been languishing since his departure. I fancy myself a loner and I am but it’s nice to have someone besides the pets to talk to now and again. Also too: he takes the trash to the dump and that’s important.
Work Update
We’ve hired someone to take over the Client Associate position vacated a month or so ago and I am doing a happy dance about that. Like, literally, two people applied for the position. So pickins be slim. It’s a young man who seems … shall we say .. moldable? I think that will work out okay because at least I can teach him how to do things the way a certain Financial Advisor wants them to be. And I will be FREEE! once again. So yey.
Woo Update
I did “Ask an Intuitive” last week and it was a big booming success! Lots of new subscribers, several new clients and about 60 short readings done! Woot! I am working on a class on empathy and am taking a week off this month just to do that and all kinds of other fun things. May as well, right?
Blog Design Update
This one here is going on four years old so I think it’s totally time. New layout, new colors, new everything. Engaging a web designer now (the one who helped make PI as pretty as it is) and we’ll see what that brings. I need the ability to update things on my own and this special template only allows me so much freedom and every now and again it breaks for no damn reason. Tweaking it should be easy and yet it’s just not. So, on to the new.
What’s new with you? Spill it, Myrtle!
Despite your low key delivery of the first paragraph, I *insist* on finding it romantic that Duty brought you flowers and that you're happy to have him home! I think it's more genuine than a lot of PDA-ing all over the place.
Your life is going so great! I keep thinking of that song lyric, "The future's so bright you ought to wear shades."
