That was me, this morning. Just snoozing away on the couch. Under the nice blanket Duty brought me back from Korea and my beautiful down pillow with the lovely cover my good friend Anni made for me.
I was listening to a meditation by Robert Ohotto and fell asleep. Woke up. Meditation was over. Started it again. Fell asleep again. Three times I tried.
I must have needed that sleep but such weird dreams! Oh my goodness! In one, I mentioned my pediatrician, Dr. Mullen. In another, the Cousin O’Love built a gate for the door between our sunroom and dining room (why? Who knows?) and Max (de dogg) ran right through it and slid right into the counter. Just bizarre stuff that made no sense.
Oh, and have I mentioned that I am off today?? WOOOO HOOO! Duty and I were going to travel to Atlantical City yesterday to meet up with the aforementioned Anni and her significant other but forces conspired against us. Still, I had asked for the day off and decided to just take it anyway. YEY for me using it for sleeps!
Actually, I have quite a few things to do today so good that I got my dozing out of the way early.
Some fun, some not so fun:
1. Email reading (funn-ish)
2. Podcast writing (BIG FUN! Love this)
3. Reviews for Pathways Magazine (three of them, to be exact. Of course I left it for the last minute. Why do you ask?) (not very fun but good for bidnss)
4. Cat box to move (yeah yeah, still haven’t done that. I suck.) (what’s the opposite of fun? This is it.)
5. Poo-collecting from the backyard. (When I do this, it makes Duty happy. Maybe it’s because it’s one of the few outdoor things he’s asked me to do and I finally just got around to doing it.) Not only do the neighbor dogs come over to rant and play, they also come over to leave me gifts in the grass. (take a guess on this one)
I’m just very happy to not be at work. People are getting on my nerves bad. Different standards for different people and that only adds to my feeling stuck and unhappy. Ah well, in due time, Lisa.
BTW, are you listening to my little five-minute podcasts? You can access them all here. When I’m a famous intuitive and podcaster, you can say you knew me when. (Stop laughing! I mean it!)
To The Gal: funny!
There’s an awful lot of shit in that post, literally. And I get it. With three cats, I often feel I’m always up to my elbows in sodden litter.
I’m glad you’re getting so much out of your writing. It’s more than just a hobby/creative outlet, it’s your calling!
